Is an e-signature from Sign legally binding?

Electronic signatures are recognised under the ESIGN Act and UETA in the United States. Sign records who signed, when, from where and what they saw. Whether a particular agreement needs more is a question for your own counsel — we do not give legal advice.

Do the people who sign need an account?

No. Each signer gets a link to their own signing page, on any device. Nothing to download and nothing to remember. The link opens that page and nothing else.

Can I send the same agreement to many people?

Yes. Send in bulk makes a separate copy for each recipient, up to 50 at a time, and each is tracked on its own.

What is the difference between Standard, Pro and Studio?

Standard sends and signs. Pro adds everything you do to the document before it goes out — editing, redaction, your logo, comments. Studio adds the call: attach the recording an agreement came out of, transcribe it, and search the page and what was said in one box.

Which languages does Sign speak?

English and Spanish. You choose yours at the top right; each recipient gets their emails and signing page in the language you pick for them. English governs.

Does Sign work on a phone?

Yes — signing is built for the phone first, and sending works there too.

Is there a free version?

There is a free trial on Pro and Studio, and Sign’s free tools (Fill & Sign, Organize, Redact) work in your browser for anyone. There is no permanently free plan for sending agreements.

What isn’t ready yet?

Collecting a payment with a signature (it needs a payment processor), digital signatures from cloud signature providers, phone and ID checks, text-message delivery, social sign-in, online storage accounts, and your own address for signing links. Each says so in the app until it works.
