Everything you need, in one place.

How to start, the questions people actually ask, and one address that reaches somebody who can fix it.

The first five minutes.

This is the whole of it. If a step here does not match what you are seeing, that is a bug rather than a misunderstanding — write to us.

  1. Sign in with your email.

There is no password. PDF sends a link that signs you in, and the same sign-in works across Documents and the rest of the family.

  2. Start from a document.

Pick one from the warehouse or bring your own. PDF works on its own copy from that moment, so whatever you do next cannot touch the original.

  3. Change it, if it needs changing.

Add text, replace a printed line, redact, reorder pages. Every edit is undoable right up to the moment you send, and refused afterwards — the signers were shown those pages.

  4. Say who signs, and where.

PDF reads the page and puts the fields where the document already asks for them. Move any of them, add the people, and set who waits on whom.

  5. Send it, and leave it alone.

Reminders chase for you. You can watch who has opened, signed or declined without asking anybody. When the last signature lands, everybody gets the stamped copy and the record.

What else it does

Common questions.

What is Sign?

Sign sends a document out to be signed and gets it back stamped. You pick the document, place the fields, name who signs, and send. Each signer opens a page of their own with a link — no account, no download — and when the last one is done everybody gets the completed PDF with a record of who did what and when.

What can Sign do?

Send for signature and track it live; place signature, initials, date, text and checkbox fields, or let Sign find them on the page for you; set a signing order and automatic reminders; edit the copy before it goes out — add text, replace a line, redact, place an image, reorder pages; leave comments pinned to the words they are about; attach the call the agreement came out of and search what was said alongside the page.

What is the difference between Standard, Pro and Studio?

Standard sends and signs. Pro adds everything you do to the document before it goes out — editing, redaction, your logo, comments. Studio adds the call: attach the recording an agreement came out of, transcribe it, and search the page and what was said in one box.

How does a subscription work?

You are charged annually, or monthly across the year, and the plan renews on its anniversary until you cancel. Cancelling from your account stops the next renewal; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Do the people who sign need an account?

No, and they never will. A signer holds a link to one page. That link opens that page and nothing else — it is not a way into the rest of Sign, and it does not create anything for them to remember.

Is a Sign signature legally binding?

An electronic signature is recognised under the ESIGN Act and UETA in the United States and under eIDAS in the European Union. Sign records what a binding signature needs: who signed, from where, at what time, what they saw, and what they agreed to. Whether a particular agreement needs more than that is a question for your own counsel — we do not give legal advice.

What happens to the original document?

Nothing. Sign works on its own copy. Editing the copy never writes back to the document it came from, and the copy records the version it was taken at, so the original can always say what has fallen behind.

Can I edit a PDF in Sign?

Before it goes out, yes: add text, replace a printed line, redact, place an image, rotate, insert, delete and reorder pages, and add headers and footers. Replacing text paints over the old line and sets the new one in its place, which is what editing a PDF that arrived as a PDF honestly is. Once an agreement has been sent, editing stops — the signers were shown those pages.

Can I undo an edit?

Any of them, in any order. The document is the original plus an ordered list of edits, so undoing one is removing it from the list rather than reversing a change already burned in.

What is the recording panel for?

Most agreements come out of a conversation. Attach that call, or pin a voice note to a page, and Sign keeps it beside the document. Where transcription is set up, the search box at the top covers both — a hit on the page is a page, a hit in a recording is a moment you can jump to.

How secure is Sign?

Every screen is behind a sign-in. The single exception is the signer page, which is public by name rather than by accident, and reaches nothing else. Signing links expire and can be cancelled mid-flight, and every view, signature, decline and reminder is recorded with a timestamp.

Does Sign work with the rest of Snow AI?

Yes. Sign, Documents, Invoice and the front door share one sign-in, so moving between them is a link rather than a second sign-in. Documents live in Documents; Sign sends a copy out for signature and never writes back to the master.

Does Sign work on mobile?

A signer signs on a phone — that is the common case, and the signing page is built for it. The desk where you prepare and send an agreement expects a larger screen.

Can I use my own domain and branding?

Pro and Studio put your logo on the agreement and on the signing page. A tenant on a white-label plan points a record in their own DNS at us and their clients reach a branded surface at their address.

Is there a free version of Sign?

There is a free trial on Pro and Studio. There is no permanently free tier: sending an agreement costs us something every time, and a free tier that quietly stops working is worse than no free tier.

Still stuck?

Write to support@snowai.app. It is one inbox, read by somebody who can actually change the thing that is wrong — not a queue.

What to send, so the first reply is an answer

  • The address of the screen you were on — the whole thing, from sign.snowai.app onwards.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead. One sentence each is plenty.
  • The name of the agreement, if it was about one. Never the document itself — we do not need it and would rather not have it.
  • Roughly when it happened, so it can be found in the log.
